Last weekend, we hosted our monthly event, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Check out a little recap below! The cocktails were top-notch, the bites were delicious, and the vibe—paired with amazing music—was just perfect. • 🎤 If live music is your vibe: On October 19th, 2025, Parcels will play at The Salt Shed in Chicago, promising an unforgettable night of music and energy. Known for their unique blend of funk, disco, and indie-pop, the Australian band has captivated audiences worldwide with their groovy beats and smooth harmonies. • 🛋️ If the couch (or the armchair) is calling your name: This week Medea is at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, running through October 26, 2025. Directed by Sir David McVicar, this powerful production brings Euripides’s classic tale of betrayal and revenge to life with Luigi Cherubini’s dramatic score. Starring soprano Sondra Radvanovsky as Medea and tenor Matthew Polenzani as Giasone, the performance is conducted by Lyric’s Music Director Enrique Mazzola. Sung in Italian with English titles, Medea is a must-see for opera lovers and newcomers alike. Click here for tickets!

• 🎭 If you feel artsy: This week, we’re thrilled to highlight Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind, an extraordinary retrospective celebrating the life and work of the iconic artist, musician, and peace activist. Featuring over 200 works, including films, installations, and participatory pieces, the exhibition traces Ono’s groundbreaking career from the 1950s to today. Highlights include her famous Cut Piece, the ongoing Wish Tree project, and her powerful peace-driven public artworks. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience Ono’s visionary art and enduring message of hope and activism, now on view in the Griffin Galleries of the Museum of Contemporary Art. What an incredible weekend 💙 ! First, we kicked it off the by celebrating Francesca’s birthday at Cara Cara Club!

Then, so many of us were out at the Chicago Marathon yesterday – some cheering from the sidelines, others actually running it – and wow, the energy was absolutely electric. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and there’s just something about watching thousands of people push through 26.2 miles that hits you right in the chest. Seriously, congrats to every single runner who crossed that finish line!

And somehow, on this same amazing day, we also pulled off our monthly event! Kiara led the most beautiful yoga class (shoutout to Gorgie for keeping us fueled with energy drinks 🙌). Kiara put it perfectly when she said this was our chance to relax and “shake out our leaves” just like the trees do in fall – letting go of what we don’t need and making space for what’s next.
