We’re thrilled about this weekend—we have a two-night event coming up with our amazing partners at Vino Divino, and we can’t stop thinking about it! Find the coolest picks for Chicago, this week:

• 🤤 If you are craving something new: Last weekend we went to Pilsen to try Chomp Pizza, a Neapolitan-style pop-up run by a local guy named Travis. Every Sunday, when the weather’s good, he’s out there from 12 to 3 PM, right between 18th and Racine. He’s super kind—and fun fact—he owns a giant tortoise, which is where the name comes from. The pizza is seriously good, on par with places like Spaccanapoli or Forno Rosso. Go check it out and help support his dream of opening his own pizzeria one day!

  

• 🕺🏻 If your feet can’t stop (won’t stop) moving like Michael Jackson: Röyksopp is bringing their True Electric DJ tour to Metro in Chicago on Friday, May 16th. Known for their dreamy, layered electronic sound, the Norwegian duo will dive into the club side of their music, spinning reworked versions of tracks like "What Else Is There?" and "The Girl and the Robot." Expect a late-night set full of energy, nostalgia, and deep synth vibes. Click here to buy the tickets!

• 🎤 If live music is your vibe: We don’t really need to tell you this—but Beyoncé is in town this week, and it’s hands down the biggest show happening in Chicago. Her Cowboy Carter tour is hitting Soldier Field on May 15, 17, and 18, and even if you’re not a die-hard fan, the buzz is impossible to ignore. Over 35 songs, massive production, and a career-spanning setlist—this is one of those concerts that takes over the whole city. Click here to get your ticket!

• 🛋️ If the couch is calling your name: We recently started watching Netflix’s The Four Seasons. Smart, funny, and refreshingly honest, the series explores midlife relationships through the lens of three long-time couples—played by Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Marco Calvani—over four seasonal getaways. It touches on everything from love and loss to divorce, parenting, and the beautiful mess of getting older. Sharp, heartfelt, and totally relatable.

• 🎭 If you feel artsy: This Friday is Third Friday, when Bridgeport lights up with art, music, and good energy. At Zhou B Art Center, you can check out exhibitions and open studios from 7 to 10 PM, with work by both local and international artists. Just a few blocks away, Bridgeport Art Center also opens its doors from 6 to 10 PM—walk through multiple floors of artist studios, Project Onward, and the Fashion Design Center. It’s all free and always a great night to connect with the creative scene in the city.

• 🤔 Still not feeling it? Check these others out:

  • ​Part of Chicago Cabaret Week, From the Seine to the Chicago River brings Claudia Hommel & friends together for a night of Paris-meets-Chicago melodies, with top local talent and live accordion, violin, and keys. Dinner and drinks by Soul & Smoke, seating starts at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door.

  • Vintage Store Day, on May 17th more than 75 vintage shops nationwide will join Chicago stores for a day of special releases and promotions.

  • Mat Pilates: Flow, Fuel, Glow - free Pilates class on Sunday, the 18th at 10 AM at Goddess and The Baker on Superior Street led by Francesca Bourke. Click here to register!
