🤤 If you are craving something new: Last week we tried Nettare in West Town and really enjoyed it! The vibe is cozy, intimate, and every detail is thoughtfully curated — perfect for a date night or even a night out with a friend. We found that their cocktails were definitely the highlight, but we also liked the desserts!

🕺🏻 If your feet can’t stop (won’t stop) moving like Michael Jackson: Sunday, May 4th, head over to The Playground at Recess in the West Loop for an epic day party to kick off the good weather! Tomorrow, Maribou State is playing at Concord Music Hall, and we couldn’t be more excited! If you’re not familiar with them, they’re an incredible electronic duo from the UK known for blending soulful beats with sounds that feel both vibrant and emotional. Their music has this way of pulling you in — it's chill yet powerful at the same time. We already saw them live and cannot recommend them enough! Saturday, May 3rd – Puma Blue at Constellation (perfect location!). We don’t even know where to start to tell you about this amazing artist. From London as well, his music is sexy, classy, and full of soul. Blending smooth R&B with a touch of jazz and indie vibes, Puma Blue creates an atmosphere that’s both intimate and captivating. His haunting vocals and chilled-out beats will have you completely immersed in the moment. 🛋️ If the couch is calling your name: The House on Mango Street is a powerful novel by Sandra Cisneros about the life of Esperanza Cordero, a young Latina girl growing up in a challenging neighborhood in Chicago. Through a series of short vignettes, Esperanza reflects on her experiences, struggles, and dreams as she navigates her identity, family expectations, and the difficulties of her community.
🎭 If you feel artsy: Wicker Park Bucktown First Fridays is a free art walk taking place every first Friday of the month from 6pm to 8pm. You can find galleries, local artist pop-ups and artist talks. Click here for more information!
